To be honest, NYUAD was never part of my plan. It was an impulsive, gut-driven decision, and I am so glad I followed that feeling. I wouldn’t trade the experience this campus and its people have given me over the last four years for anything. I’ve met such special people I never would have crossed paths with otherwise, each one changing me slightly for the better. The dorm functions, RealAD, D2 fried rice, and the 15+ trips across the globe, from Argentina to Georgia to Vietnam, are just a few memories I will forever hold dear.
These truly have been the most transformational years of my life, and I could not be more grateful.
I never imagined my undergrad journey would involve so much exploration of both the world and myself, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. NYUAD and this city have become my home, providing a sense of comfort I never even dreamed of. It was the perfect environment to grow into who I am and prepare for who I will become, surrounded by people so wonderful that I cannot imagine my life without them now.
