Katy Mc Alary, Associate Instructor

Katy McAlary is an Associate Instructor with the Academic Enrichment Program. She has her BA in Education and English with a minor in Spanish, with graduate degrees in English Literature, World Religions, and Anthropology with emphases in Gender Studies and Political Science. Her current research interests focus on the transculturation (and transversive reclamation/reverberation) of feminist art forms through techno-corporeal aesthetic representations. She has worked previously on trauma theory through multimodal literary devices and religious to socio-political representation for the eunuch and transgender populations. She is currently working on obtaining her doctorate.
