Jobs and Internships

The Career Development Center (CDC) supports students in gaining professional experience through internships, part-time jobs, and student organizations. Students build on past experiences and choose meaningful future ones that align with personal and professional goals, shaping these experiences into tools like a meaningful CV, cover letter and LinkedIn profile, and strengthening interviewing and networking skills.

Local and Global Internships

Internships aren’t required, but NYUAD students love to learn outside the classroom.

Internships serve as an integral complement to coursework, orienting students to how their freshly minted academic knowledge maps onto real-world challenges and adding important skills to prepare them for the future of work.

Students have the opportunity to intern part-time during the academic semesters and full-time during the summer.

Curating Strategic Job Options for Your Career

NYUAD students work in all types of industries and around the globe, but they start by building their skills and crafting their story with the CDC.

The CDC has an active, dedicated team working to build relationships with local and global organizations, curating job and internship opportunities for NYUAD students and alumni. CDC advisors specialize by industry and help students find and prepare for industry-specific work. Students and alumni find specifically curated jobs on the Handshake Portal (login required).
