Katie Collier is a social psychologist with an interest in the dark side of romantic relationships, power dynamics, and the role of culture on identity formation. She has a Masters of Science from Mississippi State University in Experimental Psychology with an emphasis on Social Psychology and Psychology and Law. Collier is an Instructor of Psychology at NYUAD. When she is not in the classroom, she stays busy with research on a vast array of topics within psychology. In conjunction with faculty at NYU New York, Collier has started interviewing adolescents in an asset-based community on the outskirts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. When she is not working, Katie is an avid reader and the mom of a four-year-old old pitbull.
