Thomas Pötsch completed his MSc and PhD degrees in Communication and Information Technology from the University of Bremen, Germany in 2012 and 2016, respectively.

In 2016, he joined NYUAD as a postdoctoral fellow and worked in the field of mobile communication, transport protocols and wireless network planning.
