Stephanie Harves' research focuses on formal properties of the syntax of the world's languages with the goal of revealing deep properties about the structure of the human language faculty in the mind. In particular, she is interested in the interface between morphology and syntax on the one hand and the interface between syntax and semantics on the other. She has a specialization in the syntax of Slavic Languages.
