Michael Martinez

Michael Martinez serves as Dean of Students at NYUAD. In his role, Michael represents the interests of the Campus Life division and directly supports the areas of residential education, athletics, wellness, and student conduct. 

Michael has spent most of his career as a dean supporting the experience of students at American liberal arts colleges, including Haverford College in Philadelphia, PA and at Bates College in Maine. Prior to working in higher education, Michael led a non-profit college access program for low-socioeconomic, public high school students in his home state of Texas. 

Michael is currently pursuing a doctorate in higher education management at the University of Pennsylvania and has previously earned an MBA from Babson College and an AB in religion from Princeton University.
