Research Areas: anticancer nanoparticles for drug delivery, phytochemical screening and identifying the bioactive compounds
Maryam Alkaabi is a detail-oriented chemist with expertise in developing new and innovative anticancer nanoparticles for drug delivery from the synthesis, to the characterizations and the biological applications. Possess a MSc in Chemistry with experience in phytochemical screening and identifying the bioactive compounds.
Research
In Dr Ali's lab, I prepared, characterized, and evaluated of Cisplatin-loaded nanoparticles with improved anticancer activities. I used new porous nanoparticles called covalent organic frameworks as the drug carriers.
