Sakeenah Abdulla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Sustainability from Zayed University, where she developed a strong foundation in environmental systems, sustainability practices, and ecological research. During her studies, she gained hands-on laboratory experience and participated in research activities that strengthened her analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. Her academic work reflected a commitment to addressing real-world environmental challenges through practical and science-based solutions.

In addition to her academic achievements, Abdulla was selected for the NYU Abu Dhabi Tomoh Fellowship Program, a competitive initiative that provides participants with exposure to diverse professional domains and interdisciplinary learning environments. Through this experience, she gained valuable insight into various units and developed a broader understanding of collaborative and innovative approaches to complex challenges.

Abdulla is also a participant in the Emirates Nature–WWF Leaders of Change program, which empowers individuals and organizations to drive environmental action. The program focuses on fostering leadership, raising awareness, and supporting initiatives that address critical environmental issues such as climate change and biodiversity conservation. Through her involvement, she continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability and community-driven impact.
