From March 11-15, 2024, the CGSB team organized a social media campaign to raise awareness of brain research, which included “the multilingual brain facts,” where brain facts were translated into 7 languages, including Arabic, French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Malay, Hindi and Urdu. The facts were broadcast on all social media outlets to reach the public and raise awareness of brain and neuroscience research.
From March 13-19, 2023, the CGSB team organized a social media campaign to raise awareness of brain research. This included TikTok videos, Science Autocomplete Series, as well as the multilingual facts series posted on Instagram, where brain facts were translated into 9 languages, including Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Croatian, Malay, Korean, Urdu, and Hindi. The team also participated in various school visits to regional schools such as the American Community School and Ibn Sina School; the students learned about the brain and how it works. The team also demonstrated various scientific activities involving fruit flies and Weevils.
From March 14–20, 2022, the CGSB hosted creative activities that shared the wonders of the brain and the impact brain research has on our everyday lives. The campaign virtually reached over 2 million users online across platforms; it included multiple activities such as the multilingual facts series posted on Instagram, brain education videos posted on TikTok, and the "Neuroscientist Answers Your Most Searched Questions" YouTube video.
