Spring Global Health and Nursing Immersion Program

The Global Health and Nursing Immersion Program offers NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing and Public Health undergraduates a unique spring-semester opportunity to explore the UAE’s rapidly evolving healthcare system. Based at NYU Abu Dhabi and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, this program combines academic enrichment with hands-on clinical experience.

Students will gain valuable insights into regional nursing practices, healthcare delivery models, and cross-cultural approaches to patient care — broadening their global perspective and preparing them to lead in an interconnected world.

Program Objectives

  1. Provide students with first-hand exposure to the UAE’s dynamic healthcare and nursing ecosystem.
  2. Create opportunities for dialogue between students and regional healthcare leaders, nursing professionals, doctors, and health regulators.
  3. Enable students to critically compare global nursing practices, healthcare systems, and patient care strategies.
