Spring Global Health and Nursing Immersion Program
The Global Health and Nursing Immersion Program offers NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing and Public Health undergraduates a unique spring-semester opportunity to explore the UAE’s rapidly evolving healthcare system. Based at NYU Abu Dhabi and Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, this program combines academic enrichment with hands-on clinical experience.
Students will gain valuable insights into regional nursing practices, healthcare delivery models, and cross-cultural approaches to patient care — broadening their global perspective and preparing them to lead in an interconnected world.
Program Objectives
- Provide students with first-hand exposure to the UAE’s dynamic healthcare and nursing ecosystem.
- Create opportunities for dialogue between students and regional healthcare leaders, nursing professionals, doctors, and health regulators.
- Enable students to critically compare global nursing practices, healthcare systems, and patient care strategies.
