Funded Summer Medical Shadowing Programs
NYU New York and NYU Shanghai students spending the spring semester at NYU Abu Dhabi may be eligible for funding support to pursue a summer medical shadowing program in the UAE. This opportunity allows students to gain professional experience, build global connections, and engage with Abu Dhabi’s dynamic industries.
Eligibility
- Students must spend the spring semester at NYU Abu Dhabi.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
NYU Tandon student, Osemudiame, in a medical shadowing opportunity at the Harley Street Medical Center in Abu Dhabi.
Application Process and Deadline
The application process and deadline for endorsement and funding support will be shared directly with students studying in Abu Dhabi during the spring semester.
Funding Availability
Eligible students may receive a meal and housing allowance, applied as a credit to their bursar account. As funding is limited and competitive, it is not guaranteed. Applicants are required to submit a brief statement outlining their need and qualifications for consideration.
Zero-credit Course
Participants will be enrolled in a zero-credit, online directed study course that complements the internship experience.
