Global Dynamics has supported three different conferences in AY22-23; "The End of Globalization?" Nov 21-23 2022, "Eurasian Peace Science Conference" Jan 18-19 2023; and an IMF info session for students and faculty.
Global Dynamics has funded eight different research projects for Faculty and Postdocs across Economics, Social Research and Public Policy, and Political Science programs in the Social Science Division.
New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and Yonsei University organized a workshop that brought together scholars from International Relations and Comparative Politics, whose research speaks to important political economy questions these days with covered topics spanning from democratic backsliding and rise of China to foreign aid and human rights.

This event took place on November 21-23, 2022 and brought in sixteen scholars from around the world, to serve as speakers and discussants. The research presented ranged from theoretical to empirical, analyzing important international trade, urban, and policy topics.
Professor of Social Research and Public Policy at NYUAD, Anju Mary Paul, received an Honorable Mention for the 2023 Best Book by an International Scholar award from the Global and Transnational Sociology section of the American Sociological Association, for her new book "Asian Scientists on the Move: Changing Science in a Changing Asia" (Cambridge University Press).
