This past weekend, Dubai's XVA Gallery hosted a group of NYUAD student artists — senior Nikolai Kozak, juniors Nino Cricco and Shakhbout Al Kaabi, and sophomores Agustina Zegers and Charlotte de Bekker — whose work is currently on display in an exhibition entitled "I H8 My FRNDZ." Addressing the notion of conceptual art and challenging the conventions of a typical art gallery experience, the exhibition — curated by NYUAD senior Grace Hauser — explores the intricate relationship between memory and identity.
