The Library provides comfortable reading areas, dedicated computing spaces and small and large group study rooms to create a productive atmosphere for research.
Library Main Floor
In addition to housing the Library’s print collection, the main level of the Library provides several different areas to meet academic needs.
Meeting Rooms
The Library has several small and large group meeting rooms that are available for reservation through the EMS Space Reservation System. Please note that the booking of all Library spaces is limited to NYUAD staff and faculty. More information on booking spaces across campus can be found in the student portal and faculty/staff intranet.
Leisure Reading
Take a break from your academic reading! Our Leisure Reading collection of popular fiction and nonfiction titles are available for checkout for a two-week period. We also welcome suggestions for the Leisure Reading collection in our suggestion box located on the shelves.

Library Mezzanine Floor
Reading Room
Looking for a quiet space to study? The dedicated Reading Room upstairs on the Mezzanine level provides plenty of space for students to focus on their research in a relaxed and quiet environment. The Library’s print periodicals collection is also found here.
Group Study Rooms
The Library has several Group Study Rooms available on a first-come, first-serve basis for student use only. These range in size from two- to ten-person rooms, some with AV systems to support group presentations.
