Ahlam Al Qasim
Doing a PhD requires the creativity and courage to take lead of your own project from scratch. [NYUAD] professors were always willing to provide external training in their field and also encouraged and supported students who wanted to do research. This helped prepare me the most for graduate school.
I followed my passion and did what I enjoyed, and that is why I ended up where I am today. Pour your heart and soul into your passion, and everything else will fall into place on its own. Doing a PhD requires a lot of research skills and more than anything, the creativity and courage to take lead of your own project from scratch.
