Subhadeep Halder is a PhD candidate at the Indian Statistical Institute-Delhi, working under the supervision of Professor Chetan Ghate. He is an applied macroeconomist and his research focuses on the intersection of macroeconomics and finance with a focus on financial Intermediation, and issues pertaining to sovereign debt.
Halder completed his MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics (New Delhi, India) and holds a BA (Honors) in Economics from Delhi University (India).
He is presently based at New York University Abu Dhabi, where he serves as an Assistant Instructor in the Social Science Department, contributing to the academic environment through teaching and research.
