Adil Yildiz holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Mississippi and an MA in European Studies from the University of Padua. His recent projects investigate illiberal mobilizations in Europe, analyzing their diffusion dynamics and their impact on democratic backsliding and human rights. In another line of research, he examines the role of liberal democracies in transnational repression.
