Jeffrey Jensen studies comparative political economies through the lens of comparative politics and quantitative methods. A postdoctoral fellow at Duke University, his research considers the effect of historical institutions on current levels of economic development by examining the political economy of the United States in the Antebellum era (1789-1860). Jensen completed a post-doctoral fellowship at NYU in the Program in Political Institutions and Public Choice (PIPC), in the Department of Political Science.
