Battle of The Bands
Battle of The Bands is an annual concert and contest bringing together the entire NYUAD music community to spend a night full of fun, and a lot of fantastic music performed by students, faculty, and staff.
Professor Matteo Marciano organized the first edition with over 300 people attending the event, and 10 amazing acts: bands, solo acts, trios, and acapella groups performed in the contest.
Participants don't need to be in a band to take part in the event, as long as they have got some music in in them and the desire to get on stage and share their talent. We encourage to write original music and showcase it. Winners get the chance to record a song our amazing recording studio.
