Mahmoud Hamandi is a graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department, American University of Beirut, Lebanon (B. Eng 2014 and M. Eng, 2017). He received his doctorate in the area of Aerial Robotics at the Universite de Touluse, France (2021). From 2023 onwards, he has been affiliated with the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at New York University Abu Dhabi as a Postdoctoral Associate, after having spent from 2021 to 2023 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Khalifa University. His research interests include Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAVs), Swarm Robotics, and Control Applications.
