Haneen Alsuradi is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at NYUAD, with a keen interest in developing brain-controlled interfaces through the use of EEG and machine learning techniques. She earned her PhD in Electrical Engineering from NYU Tandon School of Engineering in September 2022, where her research bridged haptics, neuroscience, signal processing, and machine learning. Alsuradi's doctoral work primarily revolved around creating a framework for modeling the haptic experience using neural EEG data and machine learning algorithms. Before her time at NYU, she completed a master's degree in Microsystems Engineering at the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, which is now part of Khalifa University.
