Stephen Kolifrath is a Research Technician in the Center for Systems Biology and Genetics at New York University Abu Dhabi, and received his Bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Boston University. His work spans the topics of molecular biology, immunology, and biological imaging. His work at NYU will mostly focus on utilizing advanced lab automation techniques to develop novel High-throughput screening (HTS) methods to address a wide range of biological problems spanning cancer and infectious disease. Kolifrath was previously a research assistant and lab manager at Boston Children's Hospital and was a lab automation engineer at New York City's Pandemic Response Lab, a part of Opentrons Labworks. Most recently, he held a position as a Clinical Instructor at Abu Dhabi's Higher Colleges of Technology campus, in the department of Health Sciences.
