October 15, 2018 | Mohammed F. Daqaq publishes a graduate textbook titled “Dynamics of Particles and Rigid Bodies: A self-learning Approach”. The book is published by Wiley and ASME press and fills the void in the academic literature by providing a uniquely stimulating, “flipped classroom” approach to teaching particle and rigid body dynamics which was developed, tested and refined by the author over the course of many years of instruction at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. |

Daqaq and his previous student Ben Caldwell receive the 2017 best paper award on energy harvesting from the Aerospace Division of the ASME for their paper published in Applied Physics Letters “Exploiting the Principle Parametric Resonance of an Electric Oscillator for Energy Harvesting”. |
