Nuclear Architecture as a Regulatory System

We study the nucleus as an active regulatory environment in which genome organization is integral to gene control. Our work focuses on nuclear cytoskeletal proteins - particularly actin and myosin - as key mediators of chromatin organization and transcriptional dynamics.

These factors:

  • Regulate chromatin accessibility
  • Enable long-range genome interactions
  • Coordinate transcriptional programs

Through these mechanisms, nuclear architecture functions as a determinant of cell state.
