President Bill Clinton to Speak at NYU Abu Dhabi's First Graduation Ceremony

President Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States and founder of The Clinton Foundation is set to be the keynote speaker for NYU Abu Dhabi's inaugural commencement ceremony.

The keynote speaker for NYU Abu Dhabi's inaugural commencement ceremony on May 25, 2014, will be President Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States and founder of The Clinton Foundation.

"It is a terrific privilege for NYU Abu Dhabi to be able to welcome President Bill Clinton as our inaugural commencement speaker, a man who has devoted his life to addressing the world’s most significant challenges in pursuit of these very same goals."

President Clinton will be speaking to some 140 graduating students during the ceremony at NYUAD's new campus on Saadiyat Island.

NYUAD Vice Chancellor Al Bloom told The National: "While our students came to NYU Abu Dhabi from many backgrounds, they were united by a common bond: A desire to make their mark on a more knowledgeable, productive, responsible, just, and peaceful globe. Over the past four years, they have worked with immense energy and imagination to prepare themselves for lives that will meet these aspirations."
