NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) will host the second edition of its Open Campus Day on January 20 from midday. With activities and drop-in sessions taking place all day for free, visitors will be able to tour the NYUAD campus, visit learning spaces and facilities, engage with art and artists, attend talks with the University’s world-renowned faculty, and experience interactive exhibitions.
Among the activities available on the day will be a tour of the exhibition Horizon by Blane de St. Croix in The Art Gallery, which showcases large-scale sculptures and installations depicting the UAE’s landscape and the impact of climate change locally. Participants can also attend an open rehearsal by dancers Aakash Odedra and Aditi Mangdalas of Mehek, a new contemporary dance piece recounting an unusual love story, in the Black Box at The Arts Center at NYUAD at 12pm.
Visitors can meet counsellors in the Admissions Zone. The NYUAD athletics team will also be hosting a series of events including a basketball challenge and the opportunity for participants to measure their jump heights. Furthermore, attendees will be able to learn more about NYUAD’s innovative academic program and hear from faculty, staff, and current students about their experiences on campus.
