Registration Fees and Costs
The registration fee for Parent Marhaba is AED 300 (USD 80) for a maximum of four people (excluding the admitted student). This non-refundable fee will go towards the cost of the programming being offered, including transportation to organized sites and venues, and Parent Marhaba-organized activities and meals. Information about the registration payment process will be provided upon registration.
The morning of August 26, 2017 will include discussions with the Vice Chancellor and academic deans. These sessions, from 8:30-11:30am, require pre-registration but not payment of a registration fee. Only families who have paid the Parent Marhaba registration fee will be eligible for the other Parent Marhaba sessions, activities, meals and transportation.
NYUAD will provide lunch on August 26 and 27, a buffet dinner on the night of August 25 and 26, and afternoon tea and light snacks the evening of August 27. Participants are responsible for covering the cost of other meals during Parent Marhaba. While a shuttle will be provided from campus to the World Trade Center Mall (centrally located in downtown Abu Dhabi) the night of 26th, all other transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the participants. Any activities not organized by NYUAD as a part of Parent Marhaba are the responsibility of the participant. NYUAD does not cover costs associated with travel to the UAE, visas, or hotels.
