Parent Marhaba Registration

Registration for Parent Marhaba 2019 is now closed.

Families and guardians who are escorting their student to NYUAD are cordially invited to Parent Marhaba. The three days of Parent Marhaba, August 16 to August 18, 2019, will include:

Tours of the NYUAD campus
Q&A sessions with senior leadership and faculty
Opportunities to explore Abu Dhabi

We encourage families to register early as space is limited.

Who Should Attend?

Parent Marhaba is designed for parents and families of first-year students. We recommend families limit participation to four people as space is limited. Participants must be over the age of 12 years.

Registration Fees and Costs

The registration fee for Parent Marhaba is AED 300 (USD 80) for a maximum of four participants (excluding the admitted student). A fee of USD 160 will apply for families bringing more than four members.
This non-refundable fee will go towards the cost of the programming being offered, including some transportation to organized sites and venues, and Parent Marhaba-organized activities and meals.
Please note NYUAD does not cover costs associated with travel to the UAE, visas, or hotels for Parent Marhaba. Activities not organized by NYUAD as a part of the program will be the responsibility of the participants. The minimum age for participation is 12. If your family member(s) will be below the age of 12, please make sure they have company while you are in Parent Marhaba sessions.

August 16	Events include campus tours, visiting your student’s Residential College, and a trip to IKEA.
August 17	Events include workshops on wellness and UAE culture, lunch and dinner, as well as one last chance to visit your student’s Residential College.
August 18	Optional trip to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque followed by farewell lunch on campus with your student.
