Health Insurance

All NYU Abu Dhabi undergraduate and graduate students eligible for a residence visa must have a valid health care plan, a requirement of the Abu Dhabi Government. Students will be enrolled in a comprehensive health benefit plan that consists of medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Many medical centers and hospitals in the UAE accept direct payments through your insurance card, but it is always good to inquire about insurances accepted at each facility before obtaining services.

A good healthcare system is in place in the UAE, with access to many private and government hospitals, as well as General Practice (GP) clinics.
