Program Fees for NYUAD J-Term Courses

NYU New York and NYU Shanghai Students Taking NYUAD J-Term Courses

Important Notes:

Total fees may differ based on the location of the course and the home school of the student. Please find details below. Note that flights to the locations of the J-Term courses are not included or provided.
All J-Term courses organized by NYU Abu Dhabi are four (4) credits. Tuition fee equals 4 credits x USD 1,493 per credit = USD 5,972. Course books and materials are included in the tuition fee.
All J-Term courses include a program fee — find the details below.
Most courses include a housing fee but do not provide meals. Courses in Abu Dhabi require campus housing with a meal plan. All meal plans are charged value-added tax (VAT) as required by the UAE government.
Note: The housing fees quoted below are estimates based on the cost of a double room at each NYU global site. Once you are placed in housing, your housing charge may be adjusted to show the actual housing cost based on your specific housing placement (for example, the cost for a single room may be higher than the quoted estimate.
Note: The application process for J-Term is very competitive and places in courses are limited. Any student who gets placed into a J-Term course — any course from their application list — but ultimately chooses not to enroll and pay the costs associated with the course will be charged a non-refundable cancelation fee of USD 500.
