Chinese Minor

The goal of the minor in Chinese is to provide NYU Abu Dhabi students with the opportunity to receive more systematic training, understand better the Chinese language, and enhance their proficiency level. The minor is useful for many careers and academic specializations that require practical fluency in Modern Standard Chinese.

Our curriculum is designed to give students a comprehensive training in listening, speaking, reading, and writing modern Chinese; and provide a strong foundation for students who wish to pursue graduate study in relevant fields or use the language in their future career. Students are required to complete 4 courses (16 language course points).
