Mohammad Ahmad Khasawneh

PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering Affiliation: NYU Abu Dhabi
Education: BSc, MSc Mechanical Engineering , Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST)

Research Areas: Applied Nonlinear Dynamics

Mohammad Khasawneh received his BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan, in 2014 and 2017. During his MSc studies, his research was focused on the field of energy systems and thermal science. His Master’s thesis focused on performing modeling and simulation to understand the effect of Nanoparticles on the performance of the ejector refrigeration cycle. After obtaining his MSc degree, he joined a research team at the Institute of Nanotechnology (JUST), Jordan where he focused on performing FEA analysis to understand the optical behavior of nanostructured antireflective coating for PV cells applications. Now he is joining the Laboratory of Applied Nonlinear Dynamics (LAND) as a PhD candidate in mechanical engineering at New York University (NYU).
