Originally Polish, Karol completed his bachelor's degree in economics at The University of Manchester in 2021, having received Dean's Award for Achievement. He then moved to complete his master's in economics at New York University Abu Dhabi. Over the years, Karol has done research in many areas, starting from his student paper about Measuring Cities' Footprints in collaboration with The University of Manchester and the UN which was published on The University of Manchester Living Lab Page. He received funding from The University of Manchester to work on innovating pedagogy, which resulted in a scientific publication. Karol wrote his bachelor's and master's dissertations in energy-economics modeling methods, where he explored the effects of different types of energy production and consumption on economic growth. As an economics instructor, he is passionate about exploring new personalized teaching methods. He is also a Social Science Academic Staff representative.
