Policy

NYUAD’s policies promote transparency, accountability, and consistency across the University’s academic and administrative practices. They uphold NYUAD’s mission, values, and standards of conduct and ensure compliance with applicable U.S. and UAE laws.

The Office of Shared Governance and Policy ensures that all institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines are clear, current, and compliant. To achieve this, they partner closely with policy owners, senior leadership, and legal and compliance teams to develop new and revise existing policies. The Office provides extensive support to departments across NYUAD, fostering awareness of and adherence to the University’s policy framework and supporting operational excellence across NYUAD.
