Carlo Collari is a Postdoctoral associate in Mathematics at NYUAD. He obtained his BSc in Mathematics at Università degli Studi di Cagliari and his MSc at Università di Pisa. Carlo was awarded his PhD from Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Lisca. After his PhD, Carlo has been visiting Postdoc in Toulouse (Université Paul Sabatier), Durham in UK (Durham University), and Budapest (Alfred Rényi Institute).

Carlo's research interests are primarily focused on low-dimensional topology and, in particular, knot theory. His research up to now has been mainly centered around quantum knot invariants, their categorifications (e.g. Khovanov homology), and their applications. Recently, he also started to work on graph homologies and graph invariants.
