Education: PhD KAUST University

Research Areas: Nanofiltration, Electrically Conductive, Direct Methanol Fuel Cell, Desalination

Jamaliah Aburabie is a Postdoctoral Associate at the NYUAD Water Research Center. She obtained her PhD from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Her research interests focus on material and polymer chemistry, crosslinking, and membrane fabrication for desalination and water treatment. Her points of interest focus on nanostructured and electrically conductive membranes for nanofiltration. Her objectives include improving monovalent ion rejection of nanofiltration membranes. She is interested in developing membranes for direct methanol fuel cells, pervaporation, and dye/salt rejections.
