Mohamed Alshamsi is a Research Assistant in Professor Mazin Magzoub’s Lab with a BS and MS in Biotechnology. He is interested in understanding the fundamental mechanisms that guide cell identity, fate, and regulation, and in exploring how these processes relate to cancer. In the lab, he hopes to connect insights from stem cell biology, developmental biology, and epigenetics to the development of novel therapeutics and targeted drug delivery, aiming to bridge basic biological understanding with approaches that could have a real impact in cancer treatment.
