Rashed Aljasmi is a physicist working in quantum optics and quantum materials. His research focuses on how light and matter interact in microcavity systems. He is currently working at the Center for Quantum and Topological Systems, studying nonlinear effects such as optical bistability and polariton dynamics. Rashed also has experience in experimental condensed-matter physics, where he investigated electron transport in two-dimensional materials under magnetic fields at cryogenic temperatures. He is keen to keep learning and hopes to contribute to future advances in physics and quantum technology in a way that helps build a better future for humanity. He is also open to exploring new topics and fields that lie within the field of quantum optics.
