Luca Franzoi is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Research Centre on Stability, Instability, and Turbulence (SITE). He obtained his PdD degree in Mathematics at the International School of Advanced Studies (SISSA-ISAS) of Trieste, Italy. His work has been awarded the Luttmann Award for Best PhD Thesis in Mathematics for the Academic Year 2019/2020 by SISSA.

His research interests focus mainly on dynamical structures for evolution partial differential equations arising from Physics and Fluid Dynamics, like long time existence results for the water waves equations in different regimes and the stability of the spectrum for the perturbed linear Klein-Gordon equation.

He is currently working on invariant structures for the 2D Euler equations in a bounded channel and on the existence of time quasi-periodic solutions for the inviscid fluid dynamics of gaseus stars.
