Education: MSc Government Arts College in Salem Tamilnadu;

Research Areas: Mars simulation experiments, Mars-analog sites, Planetary Geology, Meteorites, Meteorite craters

Vigneshwaran is the Research Assistant supervised by Dr. Dimitra Atri in the Mars research group at the Center for Space Science. His current focus is on Mars simulation experiments, observational data analysis from Mars missions, and Martian geological analogue studies in the UAE.

He has a master's degree in Applied Geology from Government Arts College Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. During his college days, he conducted research based on numerous field trips to enhance his understanding on the geology of Earth. This on-site experience helped him strengthen his knowledge of geology and identifying Mars-analog sites in India and now in the UAE. His current focus is on planetary science, and he has worked on meteorites and meteorite craters in which he has published several manuscripts in collaboration with Physical Research Laboratory, India. He envisions himself as a Martian geologist in the future.
