NYUAD’s liberal arts program prepared my analytical skills in problem-solving and people skills in engaging with a diverse group of people, which are very helpful in my role now. As an associate pricing analyst at Talabat, I have operational responsibilities which involve stakeholder management skills, while I also engage in exciting data analysis tasks to think logically and debug issues for the team to strategize for better solutions.
I enjoy identifying and solving problems through data analysis, and building internal products such as recommendation tools that leave an impact on business decisions. Recently, I worked on retrieving and analyzing a large dataset to create a recommendation simulator for Talabat’s local pricing analysts as part of a pricing initiative. This process isn’t a one-time effort; instead, it’s iterative, where I am continuously refining the user experience after receiving regular feedback.
