“My transformative journey at NYUAD, where I pursued a comprehensive degree encompassing Film and New Media, Design, and Business, Organizations and Society, has been instrumental in shaping my trajectory within the fashion industry. Studying Film and New Media provided me with essential skills in critical thinking and media analysis, proving particularly pertinent during the industry's rapid shift to digital platforms in response to the pandemic.
Building on this strong foundation, I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marketing: New Luxury & Art de Vivre at Sciences Po, Paris. This program not only complements my interdisciplinary education but also allows me to delve deeper into the evolving landscape of luxury, further honing my expertise in marketing strategies.
Before arriving at NYUAD, my interests were primarily rooted in the scientific realm, with a clear plan to pursue civil engineering as my sole focus. Coming from a scientific background, I never envisioned myself taking political science or art classes. However, my experience at NYUAD has been transformative, leading me to discover new passions and interests I never anticipated.

I found myself immersed in classes that went beyond the boundaries of my initial academic interests. Through study-away classes, summer internships, and engaging group projects, I had the opportunity to explore subjects ranging from chemistry to marketing, political science to art, providing me with a well-rounded education that transcended traditional boundaries.
These experiences broadened my perspective and helped me discover my true passion. The exposure to different disciplines not only enriched my academic journey but also influenced my personal and professional aspirations. NYUAD's emphasis on holistic education truly empowered me to embrace a more interdisciplinary approach, allowing me to see the interconnectedness of various fields.
What I find most enjoyable about my current degree is the chance to visit various luxury maisons and offices, gaining first-hand insights into the industry. Additionally, I derive satisfaction from tackling intricate business cases that both challenge and enhance my skills. Long-term, I aspire to work at a luxury maison for a few years, gaining valuable experience. Eventually, my goal is to start my own venture. Beyond professional pursuits, I am passionate about contributing to the betterment of the world and aspire to donate to those in need as much as I can.”
