“My Electrical Engineering degree at NYUAD provided me with the sound technical background needed to understand the changes and evolutions of technology, but most importantly it helped me develop a critical-thinking and problem-solving mindset. As a co-founder and builder at AionTech, problem-solving is the skill that I put to the test every day.

I was always the person reading the tech articles and wanting to understand how the greatest and latest piece of tech worked. My experiences at NYUAD helped me realize that nothing is impossible and with hard work and a plan, everything can be achieved.

My roles as vice-president of the Model Arab League at NYUAD, and head of speaker training at TEDxNYUAD helped me develop good presentation skills that I use now when I pitch ideas to investors, while my role as president of the Aerospace Club helped me understand how to work as part of a team and manage people, both skills that I use every day as I am building startup ideas.

The funding that I got to present my research on 5G at MIT and to do research on the field during the summer of my junior year provided me with life-changing experiences that I would not have otherwise. Presenting my research paper on 5G at IEEE INFOCOM 2023 was one of my most meaningful experiences at NYUAD. INFOCOM is the most prestigious Wireless Communication conference and I was the only undergraduate student presenting.

I am building innovative solutions, products, and businesses that encompass AI, as co-founder and builder at AionTech.

I hope that I get the chance to make the lives of people better by building meaningful products.”
