Internship in Africa Mixes Computer Science and Economics to Help Boost Development

Every summer, students from around the NYU global network campuses head to Kumawu, a small town in Ghana, for an internship where they work with the local population and develop apps to help improve their lives and livelihoods. The internship is organized by the Center for Technology and Economic Development (CTED) headquartered at NYU Abu Dhabi.
