The Investindustrial Foundation Expands Support for Stern at NYU Abu Dhabi Through Scholarship Commitment

NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) has received a leadership commitment of USD one million from The Investindustrial Foundation to support scholarships and academic research at the Stern School of Business at NYU Abu Dhabi (Stern at NYUAD).

The scholarship honors the legacy of Anna Bonomi, a pioneering entrepreneur and philanthropist who transformed the lives of young women in need by investing in their development and education. Established in her name, the scholarship reflects her enduring belief that talented individuals should have the opportunity to pursue educational development regardless of their financial circumstances.. Through this scholarship, her commitment to expanding opportunity will live on by supporting talented students at Stern at NYU Abu Dhabi.

The commitment marks an important milestone in Stern at NYUAD's continued growth and reflects a shared commitment to expanding educational opportunity, advancing impactful research, and developing future business leaders equipped to contribute to the UAE's knowledge economy and the wider region.

Founded in 2016 with the support of Investindustrial and the Bonomi family, The Investindustrial Foundation seeks to build a better world by supporting initiatives across education, diversity, arts and culture, and environmental protection. Its work focuses on expanding access to quality education, promoting inclusion, and creating lasting social value for underserved communities.

The scholarship commitment builds on The Investindustrial Foundation's longstanding relationship with New York University and NYU Stern, which began more than a decade ago in New York, and its growing partnership with NYU Abu Dhabi. Earlier this year, the Foundation joined the Transition Investment Lab at Stern at NYUAD as a Lead Partner, supporting research on transition finance, sustainable investment, and long-term value creation across emerging and frontier markets.
