Celebrating Vice Chancellor Al Bloom

Vice Chancellor Al Bloom.

Hundreds of members of the NYU Abu Dhabi community, including faculty, staff, and students, came together to celebrate the achievements of Vice Chancellor Al Bloom through musical performances, as well as remarks and anecdotes shared by guest speakers. 

Al Bloom will step down from the position of Vice Chancellor of NYU Abu Dhabi as of August 31, 2019. Mariët Westermann will assume the role of Vice Chancellor, effective August 1, 2019.
