  1. Register for The New York Times Digital Edition and read it on a computer or mobile device. Once you are registered, you may access The NYT Digital Edition anywhere in the world.
  2. To activate your account for the first time, visit accessnyt.com.

  Current Subscribers: Reactivate Your Existing New York Times Subscription

  If you are already a New York Times subscriber, you need to reactivate your subscription to take advantage of the free one. Here’s how:

  1. Log out of nytimes.com on all your devices.
  2. Go to accessnyt.com.
  3. Find your school name by selecting “New York University” from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click "Already have an account? Log in here."
  5. Input your existing New York Times login credentials.
  6. Select your status as "student" (enter your graduation date) or "faculty/staff."
  7. Click "Login" and you will be directed to nytimes.com.

  By (re)activating your account, you reaffirm your consent to our Terms of Service and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

  Activate your Wall Street Journal subscription at WSJ.com/NYU and read it on a computer or mobile device. Once you are registered, you may access The WSJ anywhere in the world.

  Current Subscribers: Reactivate Your Wall Street Journal Subscription

  If you are already a Wall Street Journal subscriber, you need to reactivate your subscription to take advantage of the free one. Here’s how:

  1. Call 1-800-JOURNAL to cancel your personal subscription (+1-609-627-1351 from outside the US).
  2. Go to WSJ.com/NYU to activate your free Wall Street Journal university account.
  3. Select your "Account type" as either "Student" (enter your graduation date) or "Professor/Staff."
  4. Input your email and create a password, then click "Create."
  5. A confirmation page will confirm that your academic WSJ account has been activated. Click on "Okay, Let's Go" to customize your experience.

  Faculty

  Faculty may wish to visit the WSJ Seminar Library and the WSJ for Instructors page for ideas about how to integrate WSJ content into lesson plans and assignments.
