This Statistics with R lecture series introduces the R statistics computing environment and RStudio IDE (interactive development environment). R (R Project) is a free software environment for statistical computing and graphics. R compiles and runs on a wide variety of UNIX platforms, Windows and MacOS. RStudio (RStudio Interface) is a powerful programming editor and interface to R .

Please note, that the class timing for both days will be from 10am to 12pm.

Course Descriptions
- This course aims to give you a brief introduction and understanding of the open-source, powerful, and highly extensible free statistical software R and RStudio.
- The course will assume no prior knowledge of programming in R or any other software.
- This course will also show one some useful manipulation techniques for vectors and introduces their multidimensional associates, matrices.

- Vectors and assignment
- Types of vectors in R
- Vector arithmetic
Course Descriptions
- Several types of vectors (for numbers logical values, and character strings) will be discussed
- This session provides the background needed to use R more flexibly for statistical analysis and data manipulation and presentation
