Application Process

Starting fall 2026, the NYU Abu Dhabi Global PhD Student Fellowship will be offered as part of New York University's single Computer Science PhD program advised by Computer Science faculty spanning the Courant Institute and the Tandon School of Engineering.

All applications will be submitted via the Courant Institute.

Courant Institute

  • Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree.
  • The program is five years long (one year at NYU New York and four years at NYUAD).
  • Applicants can only be advised by NYUAD faculty in Computer Science.

Applicants will be considered by the faculty in the NYU New York programs as well as the NYU Abu Dhabi programs. Applicants must select the checkbox indicating interest in NYUAD on the application form.
