Naima Hafeez is an Instructor of Economics in the Social Sciences Division at NYU Abu Dhabi. She has a BSc Hon. in Economics and Mathematics from LUMS, Pakistan (top-ranked graduate, Class of 2013) and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford (2015), where she was a Vicky Noon Scholar.
Her research interests lies in Empirical Development Economics and she has published her MPhil Thesis from Oxford, “Son Preference and Gender-Biased Breastfeeding in Pakistan”, in EDCC (lead article, 2018).
Hafeez primarily supports courses in the Econometrics and Statistics stream. Before her current role, she taught Econometrics as a Teaching Fellow at LUMS from 2015 to 2017.
